NEHC is thrilled to announce Sr. F, assistant captain, #10 Nicole Lorenzo (Coral Springs, FL) has committed to Norwich University to play for the Cadets. Norwich University is located in Northfield, VT and is the oldest private military college in the United States. Norwich was founded in 1819 by Captain Alden Partridge.

"I couldn't be happier for Nicole and her family. She has worked extremely hard over the last 2 seasons and I think this is a great fit for her. Coach Bolding and his staff do a terrific job year in and year out, and are always in the mix for the national championship. I can't wait to see what she can become at the next level in such a great spot.." -Head Coach Josh Hechter.

Nicole was among the leaders in goals, points, and assists in JWHL league play for NEHC and was crucial to the powerplay success. She is a very offensive player with an outstanding release and shot. Nicole's breakout weekend was in Rochester, NY during the Fire on Ice tournament, where she scored seven goals, helping the team win its first trophy.

"I would like to thank Coach Josh and the rest of my New England Hockey Club family for the help and support this season. I am excited to have the opportunity to play for Norwich and I can't wait to see what the future holds!" - Nicole Lorenzo

NEHC look forward to following her college career and wishes her the best at Norwich University.
